Recognising today the female leaders of tomorrow

When girls in Africa have their period, they often miss days in school due to lack of sanitary supplies and societal stigmas and taboos.

In addition, traditional cultures make it difficult to discuss menstruation publicly and openly.

SHE Achieve Afrika and Fay International Ltd celebrated World Menstrual Hygiene Day with the Winners of the World Robotics Fair and their mates, Mamfe Methodist Girls High School. We discussed views on Menstrual Hygiene Management and the importance of Girls Education.

We used that opportunity to congratulate them and awarded them with learning materials and healthy sanitary towels to commemorate the day. We also stressed the importance of knowing about the nature of sanitary towels and their composition before patronising them. A healthy woman is a healthy future and Faytex products provide just that.
